PSI = Phone Handling Skills

Phone Ninjas has created the industry standard when evaluating the phone handling skills of sales, service and parts professionals.  Our score sheet evaluates over 30 aspects of a phone conversation.  Form this data we will generate a PSI score from zero to five.

We have been able to graph the performance of dealerships and then measure the appointment percentages in correlation to PSI scores.  The graph below represents a real dealer (in blue) versus the average dealer (in red).  You can see that dealers scoring from 2 – 2.5 are generally only scheduling the appointment 10% of the time.  Yet when scoring at 4 – 4.5, dealers are scheduling the appointment 70% of the time and the dealer in this graph is achieving an 80% appointment ratio.

As you can see, there is a very big difference in appointment ratios when looking at an average score in comparison to an above average score.  The success of your advertising budget depends on the PSI scores of your dealership.
